Through a simple process, outlined below, you will be able to get your Biometric Ufone,Telenor,Jazz,Zong,Warid SIM.
  • Walk into any concerned Customer Service Center, Franchise or Retail Outlet with your original CNIC.
  • The Customer Service Representative/Franchise Representative/Retailer will check the CNIC for SIMs already issued. If 5 SIMs have already been issued on the respective CNIC, no further action can be taken. (Customer can check the registered SIMs against his/her CNIC by sending 13 digit CNIC number to 668. This will return the operator wise connection count for the submitted CNIC).
  • In the case that 5 SIMs have not been issued on the respective CNIC, the details are entered into the system and you will be asked to put your thumb on the biometric machine. Your thumb print (and/or Index Finger and Thumb of both Left and Right hand) will then be verified by the system, through NADRA.
  • Once verified, your new, pre-activated SIM is handed over, and a confirmation SMS is sent to the new number at the same time.
  • In case of unsuccessful verification, you will be informed of the reasons by the sale agent.
Simple Re-verification Process for Old Customers
  • Go to any nearest Business Center/Franchise Center/Retailer or MSP along with your CNIC
  • Share the numbers to be re-verified/owned with Customer Care Representative (Currently prepaid only)
  • Only shared numbers will remain on your CNIC & all remaining numbers will be disowned within 24 hours. A confimation SMS will also sent on your number*

Note: As per instructions from Government of Pakistan (PTA), It is mandatory that SIMs that were not activated by Biometric process need to be verified through biometric device.

How to Check Verification Status
Customer can check verification status of his/her CNIC by sending their CNIC # from a SIM registered against same CNIC at short-code 6001
Customer can send any SMS (including blank SMS) to 7751. In reply the system tells the customer if the number in use is BVS verified or not.

Customer can send any SMS (including blank SMS) to
7750. In reply system tells the customer of the nearest Telenor office/retailer location.
7911 SMS service (FOC) has been launched to check the verified numbers by sending “V” to this short-code 7911
Dial USSD code *336#, a menu will appear at which Type 1. The sender will get the verification status of his number.
Customer can send message (CNIC) to short-code 789 through primary verified number and in return he will get status of numbers against his/her CNIC along with verification stats. Format of this process is sent to primary verified number via txt.
