PPSC stands for Punjab Public Service Commission which was established in April 1937 under the Government of India Act, 1935
Its Main Office is located at 2-Agha Khan (Davis) Road, Lahore while its two regional
offices are located at
1.H.No.613, Chaklala Scheme No.3, Lane No.8,
Rawalpindi.
2.Bungalow No.3-5E, Abid Avenue Officers Colony,
Bosan Road, Multan.
The Commission comprises a Chairman, 15 Members, one Secretary and a strength of over 300 staff.
The Commission is responsible for recruitment to various posts falling in Grade-16 to 22 or 9 to 15
PPSC invites Applications from the candidates against the posts advertised through the press.
PPSC hold written examination/test provisionally
PPSC interviewed the candidates and recommend them to provincial govt on the basis of aggregate merit.
PMS stands for PROVINCIAL MANAGEMENT SERVICE
Punjab Public Service Commission Lahore made arrangements for this competitive exam every year
PMS posts are advertised by PPSC every year in different departments of provincial govt of BS-17
A graduate is eligible for this exam
All candidates shall take all Compulsory Subjects and three of the Optional Subjects (not more than one from each group) carrying 200 Marks each. Thus total marks for the said Examination will be 1200 Marks.
