It was formed in Cairo on 22 March 1945
Original at formation time members: Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Syria.
The Arab League currently has 22 members.
Each member state has only one vote in the League Council
Its Administrative center is at Cairo
It aimed to be a regional organisation of Arab states with a focus to
developing the economy, resolving disputes,
and coordinating political aims.
The area of members of the Arab League covers around 13,000,000 km2 and contains two continents: Africa, and Asia.
